Printer is not updated with counters and supply levels anymore. Why is that?

The Device suddenly stop to be updated with counters and supply status.

The problem could be that the model number is missing in the Device,  the IP address on the device changed and the new IP is not within a defined network range under Admin>Data Collectors, or the MAC address changes after swapping network card/controller in the printing device.

Example:

    • There has been service on the Device and the controller has been changed.
    • The service technician has forgot to add the model number to the new controller.
    • When the model number is not entered it is set to CXXXXA.
    • To confirm this print a configuration page from the Device to see the model number.
    • Please have the service technician enter the correct model for the device so it will report accurately.

If a service has been performed on the printer where vital hardware was replaced or the network card was changed, the identifying information may have changed. In this case, please send an email to support@euroform.com with this information:

    • Account Name
    • Device Name
    • Device IP address
    • MAC Address
