To get Traps reported you need to enable Traps in the Printer

1) In the printer set Trap Destination Address to the IP address where the Data Collector is installed.

2) Set the port number to: 162
(Note: make sure there is no other software listening on Port 162) 

3) Set the SNMP Community Name to: public 

4) If possible select which Traps to be sent from the printer.

Now Traps will be reported to the account.

To check if Traps are sent, go to Admin --> View Log.
