The Data Collector uses the following intervals:

• Poll = Every 30 min
• Collect = Every 3rd hour
• Discover = Every 5th hour

1) Install JADC on 192.168.14.65 and the network range 192.168.14.1 - 192.168.14.254 will be added.

The Data Collector then starts to Discover and Collect the network range 192.168.14.1 - 192.168.14.254.

2) Customer then add a new network range 192.168.100.1 - 192.168.100.254.

The new network range 192.168.14.1 - 192.168.14.254 will first be Discovered and Collected after 5 hours if nothing is done because a Discover will run every 5th hour.

There are 2 options to speed up the Discover process:

• Select "Force Discover" in Admin --> Networks and within 30 minutes a Discover and Collector will be executed.
• Select "Force Discover" in Admin --> Networks and then stop and start the Data Collector because then a Discover and Collect will be executed within 30 seconds.
