How are "Send Empty Reports = No" working?

If you set up a report for Supply Alert, Device Alert or Account Alert and "Send Empty Reports = No,"  you will not receive an email if you do not have any active alerts at the time when the alert report(s) are running.
If all alerts are empty, no active alerts "records," then a report will not be sent.
 
If you have created a view and use that for a report then it will never be empty because you have defined fields
which will always be in the view, meaning there will never be empty records in the view used for the report.
"Send Empty Reports = No" will not check if you have data in a field or not for reports made from stanndard views.
