To install the Data Collector on Windows Vista, the User Account Control (UAC) needs to be disabled.

How to disable UAC:

• Select "Control panel"
• Select "User Account"
• Select "Turn User Account Control on or off"
• Remove the checkmark in "Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer"
• Select "OK" Restart the Windows Vista PC
• Then install Data Collector
• The Data Collector will not automatically download and install .Net 4.72 so before installing the Data Collector you need to install .Net Framework 4.72 or higher which can be found in Admin -> Data Collectors -> Download. (May require Reboot)
