HP printer do not have any Mono or Color counters or counters are not updated after 21-04-2016. Why is that?

Issue: Mono and Color counters in JetAdvice Manager is empty or not updated after 21-04-2016.

 

In April 2016 JetAdvice Manager was changed to use HP FutureSmart counters for the newer HP printer models.

If the printer firmware is too old it will need to be updated as HP introduced FutureSmart counters in the printer firmware after June/July 2013. 

When printer firmware is updated to the latest firmware available then you will again see the Mono and Color counters in JAM.
