In JetAdvice Manager with HP SDS, users can help customers know what to expect for a device by remotely sending a Control Panel message to the printer.

When the message is not valid or required anymore, it can be cleared. See below how to perform both actions.

Adding the Control Panel message:
From the Manage Tab of the device, in the Send CP Message text box, you can enter the text message you want to set in the printer and press Send


After a few moments the message will then appear on the printer control panel.

Clearing the Control Paenl message:
From the Manage Tab of the device, you can press the Remote EWS button to gain access ot the printer settings


Choose the Display Settings option from the General Tab
Uncheck the "Show Welcome Message" option
Press Apply
