Alerts
When referring to alerts, we can distinguish two different types:
· Real Time Alerts
· Frequency Alerts
Real Time Alerts:
· Which SE generate RTAs: All severe & Critical System Errors that happen while booting.
(real Time Alerts are only supported for PageWide XL, DesignJet T1600, DesignJet T2600 & DesignJet XL 3600)
· Time expected for the alert to be generated: Immediately
* It is possible that the upload of the alert is not possible to be accomplished if the printer is offline or has an error. This type of alert is very fast but, can be lost sometimes.
Frequency Alerts:
· Which SE generate FA: Those alerts are based on frequency rules that are specifically configured by HP side and do not include all the System Errors but only the most relevant ones.
· Time expected for the alert to be generated: Up to 4 hours after the condition has been met.
*Once an alert is triggered it becomes inhibited for the next week. This means that even if the SE is persistent the alert will not be generated at least until the next 7 days.
*The printer sends every 4 hours a list with al the System Errors it has had and, for all the System Errors that are linked to a rule that is met, the alert will be generated (the alert will be uploaded to the Partner Link dashboard during the next 24 hrs). Frequency Alerts are slower than the Real Time ones.
