To take advantage of IP ranges added to find devices on the network when SNMP v3 is used, an instance with the defined security settings will be required to properly read and see those devices.
You will want to fill out each field to ensure it matches the SNMP v3 policies within your network. Every field is required to save the SNMP v3 settings except the ‘Context name’ field. More details around these SNMP v3 fields are available in the JetAdvice Manager with HP SDS User Guide v.1.01
Note: Certain manufacturers require specific context names to work unless uniquely defined.
Context name for the following manufacturers is blank
Dell, Kyocera, Lexmark, Samsung, Xerox
Otherwise:
Manufacturer Context (Case Sensitive)

HP Jetdirect
Lanier GWNCS
