If you are having difficulties, please read below and reference the JetAdvice FAQ and Installation Guide links.

Below is a detailed description of how to produce the best Zebra Assessment Report results.

1) Minimum 2 weeks of discovering and collecting devices.

  • The longer the assessment period is the better the quality of the assessment report will be.

2) All possible network ranges defined for discovering and collecting devices.

  • Ask the customer about the network infrastructure. If the customer only has limited knowledge about the network infrastructure then ask if they know all the IP addresses used. The IP addresses can then be pasted into the JetAdvice Edge Discovery tab in JetAdvice Manager or in JetAdvice Edge.

3) All possible Community names defined for discovering and collecting devices.

  • SNMP V1/2: Ask the customer if other than the default Community name "public" is used and make sure they are defined in the JetAdvice Edge Settings tab in JetAdvice Manager or in JetAdvice Edge.
  • SNMP V3: Ask the customer if SNMP V3 is used and make sure SNMP V3 settings are defined in the JetAdvice Edge Settings tab in JetAdvice Manager or in JetAdvice Edge.

If no devices are discovered or collected then see the troubleshooting FAQ and find the requirements in the JetAdvice Edge installation Guide
