In JetAdvice 3.0 you can still modify the Product #, Device ID and Serial # to make sure devices are identified as you desire.

When accessing the printer information, you can alter these fileds by slecting the pencil icon next to the respective field.

When you have changed one of the fields, the icon will turn blue identifying that the alternate information is being viewed now. As you can see in the image the Serial # has been modified, the pencil icon is blue.
 

Note: The "new" field information will only be seen in the Printer Information page and reports where the specified fields are added. To make sure that the alternate field information is used in reports, you will need to add the fields you are expecting; Alt. Device ID, Alt. Model number and/or Alt. Serial number. Otherwise the 'collected' information will be used in the standard fields.
