You can get the content from
reports in different ways, one way is for you to schedule the report content to
be sent to you (or a different person) through email.
When you schedule emails for reports, you need to be aware of following limitations:
- Typical case, you as a dealer user, create a scheduled email for All customers or Selected Customers (this will show up as “data source” in schedule email) in your account. In this case 10 is the max number of emails that can be created, counting all schedule emails created by any dealer user in your account. That applies to scheduled emails set in any report regardless the report is in your level or a superior level (note that resulting execution of the report will include your customers only even in superior levels)
- If you schedule the email for just 1 customer account (data source is Current customer), you will have a maximum of 5 schedule emails per customer account. Make sure you are in the reports dashboard when you do this, as if you enter the report (click in report title and see report content), you will see you can also schedule email from there but you will change the scope to "Dealer" (you will see “DealerID” in the URL on top of the AccID) so the limit of 10 will apply in that case .
One variant of scheduling an email for current customer is to create the report inside the customer account by copying the report using the duplicate feature (icon with the “+”) . In this case you can schedule 5 emails for that customer (data source will show as current Customer) and it will not happen that you change the scope by mistake.
