Some printers do not respond when they are in sleep mode so consider to configure the Energy Settings in the printer to make sure the printer is not in sleep mode during office hours.

Define a sleep schedule so the printer is ready in office hours and also consider to disable Auto-off after sleep.

Could also be an error in the supply, a bad chip or a bad contact in the supply so try to reinsert supply and reboot the printer.

Make sure the printer is updated with the latest firmware.
