When starting the data collector – The user credentials used on the server need to have internet access because the Data Collector will do the initial communication with the JetAdvice Web Service on port 80.

- The user needs to have rights to access the internet using http port 80 and https port 443.

- If Proxy settings are required then the Proxy settings defined in the data collector are used.

- All data collected by the DCA is encrypted and sent as https port 443 TCP outbound using a 128-bit encrypted connection with a 2048-bit certificate.

    No inbound UDP connection is needed.

- If the data collector can not be started please add the full link to the server in the customer's Firewall:

  https://jadcws.jetadvice.com/v2/service1.svc or the IP of the JetAdvice server: 104.40.223.100 / DNS: http://jadcws.jetadvice.com/

  - SNMP v1/v2 port 161/162 is used to discover and collect printers in LAN.
