How to add extra Network Range on an account

This can be done in two ways.

  1. Go to Admin --> Data Collectors
  2. Select your Data Collector to modify
  3. Under Import ranges type or paste an IP address in the box and select Import
  4. Example - Type or paste in 192.168.50.35 and it will create a new network range with IPv4 Start: 192.168.50.1 and IPv4 End: 192.168.50.254
  5. Under Define network ranges select Force Discover to discover devices on the new Network Range next time the Data Collector communicate with the server
Or
  1. Go to Admin --> Data Collectors
  2. Select your Data Collector to modify
  3. Under Define network ranges select Add new range
  4. Under Network Ranges select Edit
  5. Then define a Name for the Network Range, define IPv4 Start and IPv4 End address and select Update Example - Name: Sales Department - IPv4 Start: 192.168.50.1 - IPv4 End: 192.168.50.254 
  6. Under Define network ranges select Force Discover to discover devices on the new Network Range next time the Data Collector communicate with the server.
