There are very few conditions were Hardware Alerts / Events that have worked in the past don't work currently. There is a simple explanation for this occurrence, the traps set in the printer are not pointing to the IP address of the Data Collector.

If a server crashes and the Data Collector is installed on a new server, Hardware Alerts /Events will not automatically be routed to the new IP address of the Data Collector. Traps are configured individually in each printing device and should be pointed to the IP of the current Data Collector.

If the Data Collector is installed on another server in the network you will need to make sure all printer traps are pointed to the new IP address of the Data Collector.
